Giving society the chance to care for health naturally with our special products means that in Laboratoires Quinton, our project is comprehensive. We focus on the quality of our specialities to attain excellence. The legacy of an extensive all-round project means that this excellence is environmentally friendly; it is in tune with society and with the Quinton team.

Pursuant to our project “Quinton: Happiness lies in Health”, we have managed to make 95% of our colleagues feel happy about being part of our company. They think that Quinton is an excellent place to work.

SOCIAL WELL-BEING

Our children: the chance to be able to accompany your child on their first day of school, a European timetable with a continuous working day instead of split shifts so that you can have the afternoons off to enjoy, the flexible timetable that can be adapted to the needs of your children, tele-working when the children are sick, tutoring in working hours, the chance to bring them to work now and again when it is necessary. We don’t forget that they are children and we organise parties, competitions, give them presents…

Our seniors: We encourage caring for our seniors, with the flexible timetable, authorisation to go with them to the doctor’s during the working day, help them with health issues and above all we extend this permission when they are in hospital.

Our society: Another fundamental aspect of our social responsibility project, which is included in our annual report.

Small deeds that make our world a better place: collecting school material, bottle tops for charity, charity sporting events…. Fundación Seur, Cáritas, Cruz Roja, the children of the fundación San José Obrero, Hospital Optimista, are just a few of the NGOs that we support.

We outsource part of our mailing work to a vocational training centre.

We advocate culture through a short story competition organised by the Rotary Club.

The key word is quality in our work: European timetable, flexibility in starting and finishing hours, the switch off the lights policy, working for objectives and no presenteeism, à la carte holidays, awards and prizes, birthdays off …

On-going training for 100% of team, we give the team training to develop their skills and also for PERSONAL development. We get all the staff together and work as colleagues on team spirit, team work, personal and social skills.

Finally, our rewarded suggestion and on-going improvement system focuses on active listening; members of staff can make suggestions that help us improve, so that they feel like they really are part of the project.

We look after our employees’ health. There is a free physiotherapist available to help anyone during working hours, we have private medical insurance. We encourage healthy eating: free fresh fruit, nuts and dried fruit. Our “Totum Sport” sports team does exercise on a regular basis both individually, as a group and even with the family; over 85% of our personnel does physically activity.

We have the Quinton Wellness programme for individuals: Food, exercise, sleep quality, stress management and “No” to smoking are the main themes of the programme.

With the help of a nutritionist, an emotional trainer and a sports coach, we set individual objectives that improve the Health of the group. All this, to turn the workplace into a healthy environment.

Certificado de empresa en conciliación

Reconciliation of work and family certificate. Laboratoires Quinton is committed to creating an organisation that takes measures to reconcile professional and personal/family life, to uphold equality and diversity and not discriminate.

Sistema arbitral de consumo

Consumer arbitration system. Upholding this system guarantees quality and a good service. It shows that we are willing to efficiently and effectively solve any disputes and complaints that could arise in consumer relations.

OHSAS 18001. It certifies that at Laboratoires Quinton a system has been adopted to eliminate or minimize the occupational risks associated with our work; that there is a continual improvement process and it ensures that the health and safety policy established is complied with.

The global compact

United Nations Global Compact. Laboratoires Quinton supports the United Nations Global Compact, which is an international initiative to promote corporate social responsibility for corporate sustainability.

gmp cosmetics

Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate (GMP). It certifies that the products are consistently produced and controlled pursuant to the strict quality requirements in accordance with the existing legislation, thus making sure that our products are safe and are of top quality.

sgs-gmp

Good Manufacturing Practices Certificate for Cosmetics and the GMP ISO 22716:2007. It certifies that all the cosmetics are made pursuant to the Good Manufacturing Practices, according to article 8 of the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 from the European Parliament.

Iso-14001

Environmental policy ISO 14001:2004. The inclusion of the ISO 14001 standard certifies that we comply with the legal requirements and other requirements to continually improve our environmental management system and prevent contamination.

Adhesión Luxemburgo

Support for the Declaration of Luxemburg. The Support for the Declaration of Luxemburg means that our organisation agrees to accept and implement the basic objective to promote health in the workplace.

Iso-9001

Quality ISO 9001-2008 standard. In our quest for entrepreneurial excellence we have included this standard that focuses on identifying and determining processes of the organisation, which are essential for it to be run efficiently.

Happy Force. With the Happy Force tool we determine how happy our team is. In this way we focus on people and we create a productive and pleasant working atmosphere.

Origen español

Spanish Certificate of Origin. This stamp certifies Spanish companies that produce a high percentage of their product in Spain.

igualdad en oportunidades

Fent empresa. Iguals en oportunitats. This stamp is awarded by the Dirección General del Instituto de las Mujeres y por la Igualdad de Género de la Generalitat Valenciana (the Valencian Government Department for Women’s rights and Gender Equality). It endorses our equality plan that has been established to correct any disparity between genders and promote the reconciliation of family and professional life.
